Significant Reform of the Canton Fair — Three Phases in 106th Session

Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the 104th session of the Canton Fair has adjusted its exhibition period by splitting 2 phases into 3 and will be held from 15 October to 6 November, 2008. Each phase will last 5 days instead of 6 with 2 intervals for 4 days each. Please be noted that all 3 phases will be held in the Pazhou Complex, while Liuhua Complex will no longer be used. The Canton Fair will offer you grand scale and boundless opportunities. Welcome to the Canton Fair!

To make an easier and more comfortable access to the Canton Fair, a new IC card entry badge system is introduced to our exhibitors and buyers for the upcoming 104th Canton Fair. Previously used E-Pass cards will be replaced by the new IC cards which will be available on site or mailed in advance by the Canton Fair.

Transport

Pazhou Complex of China Import and Export Fair is located at No.380 Yuejiangzhong Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, China. Exhibitors can approach to the Complex through following means:

(1)By Metro

Metro Line 2 (Sanyuanli Station-Wanshengwei Station):Take off at Xingangdong Station or Pazhou Station.

Metro Line 1(Guangzhou East Railway Station-Xilang Station): Take Metro Line 1 to Gongyuanqian Station. Then transfer to Line 2 and take off at Xinggangdong Station or Pazhou Station.

Metro Line 3(Guangzhou Tianhe Bus Station-Panyu Square Station): Take Metro Line 3 to Kecun Station. Then transfer Line 2 to Xingangdong Station.

Metro Line 4(Wanshengwei Station-Jinzhou Station): Take Metro Line 4 to Wanshengwei Station. Then transfer Line 2 to Xingangdong Station.

(2)By Taxi

The flag fall price for taxis in Guangzhou is RMB 7 (for the first 2.3 Km). The price after 2.3 km is RMB 2.60 per kilometer. The fuel surcharge is RMB 1. The meter is fixed in the front part of the taxi near the door.

(3)By Hotel Shuttle Bus

Information is available in the hotels.

Currency

RMB is the circular currency in China. Foreign currency can be exchanged for RMB in hotels and bank outlets. The Bank of China and the ATM with the sign of China Union Pay will provide service of drawing cash from credit cards.

Time Zone

Guangzhou time is 8 hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time (+8 hours GMT)

Power Supply

The voltage standard in China is 220V/50Hz.
